I was barely 11 years old when a girl in my neighborhood taught me English so that I could communicate with an Irish girl. At the age of 15, I took Spanish courses and at 17, I started Japanese lessons.
I love to travel and interact with people of different cultures. It was no surprise that I wanted to graduate in Translation/Interpretation studies zo that I could work internationally.
Shortly after graduation, I started what turned out to be a journey of 18 years in an multinational. I worked internationally and received one opportunity to advance after another, and was able to advance in the HR department from HR assistant to H.R. Director.Â
I am passionate about coaching and accompanying business owners, leaders and teams so I can see them grow.Â
Despite my long experience in coaching and guiding, I noticed that the sustainable transformation sometimes did not materialize.
When somebody does not feel the need to change, this change is not lasting… In order to allow others to grow, it is important to keep growing and developing yourself….
The very first time I got guidance myself was when I was going through a very dark and tough time myself, when my 17 year marriage broke up and I had to re-invent myself again. Shortly after, I had the first professional coaching when my yearlong employment was ended as a consequence of a reorganization. Although I knew as H.R. responsible what it applying for jobs was about, this coaching and guidance was very valuable. Â
Years later, my career had evolved nicely and I was able to fulfill many nice roles. Although my professional career was stable, I had this feeling in 2017 : so what is next. And i started my reflection on how I saw the 2nd half of my career during a coaching trajectory at Your coach. This coaching still has its effect on how I live my life and how i am in my job. Extremely valuable ! Â
Inspired by my own experience and passion for Coaching and Training, I decided to professionalize myself further in this domain. I wanted to be a valuable coach and not just anyone, but one with a quality label, and ICD recognized label. This label stands for ethics, professionalism, competence and decency. A training that results in such a label, means you can coach. After all the ICF standards are not the lowest. Having completed 2 recognized courses with ICF and my professional experience of many years, I can enable you to personal growth in a coaching trajectory. As coaching is my passion, self-development is a core value in my life. I learn from every coaching trajectory that I facilitate as every story is unique and asks for a unique approach.
